Nominations

Please remember to nominate at least 2 weeks prior to the event, as the closing date for entries is usually around 10-12 days before and this gives me time to organise nomination forms, cheques and postage for your entires to arrive on time. Please note that until you are a full financial riding member you are not permitted to enter any Official or Un-Official Pony Club Events.
.
Very Important PCAQ Rule... You will need to produce your Membership Card at all events, if you cannot produce it you will not be able to take part!!

using bank reference of "Noms"along with Surname.

Some members prefer to pay a cheque into the Club at the start of the competition year and draw on that as they decide what to enter. Subsequent cheques/monies may be added to your account throughout the year.

NOMINATION AND REGISTRATION DETAILS
When nominating for P.C.A.Q. Events members will be required to give their name, d.o.b., membership number, the horses name and registration card details to make sure the rider is in the correct class. If riders want to up-grade they can, by making a formal written request directly to P.C.A.Q. Riders may not down grade.
.
Where a rider is 13 years - 26 years and wishing to compete in Official Classes and State Championships, the horse/s will require to be registered with PCAQ. You must have a graded performance/dressage card to compete in Dressage, Combined Training, Horse Trials and Showjumping. Cards are not required for Seniors and 12 years and under in Showjumping, Horse Trials, Dressage and Combined Training. You can compete HC which means you are not eligible for any prizes or ribbons. Most Pony Clubs events offer an Un-Official part of the programme so once you reach 13 years do not feel pressured that you have to obtain cards and have your horse graded. There will still be lots of events that you can enter and win Trophies, ribbons etc.
.
Fill out this form, click here... "Application Register to a Horse" Please complete all sections of the form and return to PCAQ, PO Box 2378, Fortitude Valley,4006 accompanied by your cheque for $5.50 per card. Cards will be returned to our Club Secretary. Please Note: If you register your horse for Showjumping, your jumping height for Combined Training will be “2” eg. A horse graded D for Showjumping and Preliminary for Dresssage will be A2 for Combined Training. If you are not ready to jump 90cm, do not obtain a Showjumping Card.
Pony and Galloways now need to be registered to enter Official Classes. For Combined Training you must enter at “D” Grade height i.e. A2, B2, or C2.
Seniors and Unofficial riders need to check programmes for Official and Unofficial Classes as changes are in progress and Clubs may vary entry requirements.
Open Pony Club Events are usually run under Pony Club rules but are open to anyone regardless of whether or not they are a Pony Club member. Nominations do not need to come through me and payment can be sent direct to the Pony Club running the event.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to give me a call.
